IpaUp is a group of young smart thinkers who have been working together for years, motivated by the opportunity to innovate by offering cutting-edge solutions. IpaUp is currently a business unit born in the second half of 2017 of NERAtech S.r.l. mother company, it provides services in the field of the acquisition and processing of 3D models, images and videos captured by laser scanners and different cameras (thermal, multispectral and RGB).

IpaUp together with GisUp branch of NERAtech S.r.l. has been working for years with national and international players developing prototypes and applications (Vodafone, INWIT, Leonardo Company, RTA-Road and Transportation Authority Dubai, CISCO, FCA and research centre as Politecnico di Torino).

Our service covers a wide range of monitoring activities from static and mobile laser scanners and total stations to drone-related activities thanks to our network of certified pilots. The computer vision algorithms and data processing applied to results of these activities are the links to enable web, mobile, and virtual applications. We provide IT-driven services, we optimize procedures and customer solutions, we re-engineering processes with the best existing technologies.

From the acquisition of images to their complete processing for the supply of simple and effective cartographic products useful in several fields as architecture, engineering, geomatics and geology, to offer a better resolution. Ten-year experience in the field of photogrammetry and topographic surveys facilitate large amounts of images processing through our cloud system in the shortest verifiable time.

Graduated in Environmental Engineering and Resources (at University of Pavia, in the splendid Mantova headquarters) and former engineer with a Master in Science of Environmental Engineering at the University of Aalborg (DK) in 1999-2002. He prefers to define hiself as a happy and enthusiastic GIS developer. GIS knowledge and passion for computer science date back to his Master in Denmark. Since 2003 he is working as a freelancer.

Graduated in Land Protection Engineering (at Politecnico di Torino) achieved a PhD in GeoEngineering in 2012. So far he has been teaching GIS and thematic cartography for 4 years at University as an external lecturer. From 2012 he focused on 3D survey and GIS application, being a co-founder of Ise-net S.r.l. a company specialized in laser scanner and UAV acquisition. From 2016 collaborates with different Architecture and Engineering company aiming to introduce 4.0 innovation.

Survey Specialist / Cad solution architect

Expert in 3D Laser Scanning since 2007. He works on all facets of laser scanning from mission planning to delivery of final models. Expert advisor helps customers during all project phases focussing on 3D models and Cad applications to improve project itself feasibility.

Graduated in surveyor at Enrico Fermi Institute of Ciriè (Torino) in 2004. After his professional traineeship, he enrolled in the surveyor register. In 2007 he founded with another surveyor Pro-Geo an important topographical company. Massimo with his collaborators in Pro-geo works on acquisition with laser scanner and bathymetric survey, territorial planning, topography, cadastre, technical appraisals and energetical certification.

Born in Cagli and resident in Turin, graduated in the History of Art and Design. Since 2010 he deals with integration between design and new technology. Every day he tries to combine tradition and innovation to produce functional design solutions by employing user-centric design principles. When he is not focused on choosing a new colour palette you can find he running or doing CrossFit or most likely he's eating something.
